اشتباكات ومشاجرات داخل المركز الوطني لفرز الانتخابات في كينيا.

انتشرت شرطة مكافحة الشغب داخل المركز الوطني لفرز الانتخابات في كينيا بعد مشاجرات واتهامات من قبل وكلاء الأحزاب.
وأظهرت النتائج الرسمية التي نشرتها مجموعة نيشن الإعلامية أن نائب الرئيس وليام روتو حصل على 50.9٪ من الأصوات ، متقدماً على زعيم المعارضة رايلا أودينجا الذي حصل على 48.5٪.
وقد أدى الارتباك بشأن فرز الأصوات في وسائل الإعلام والوتيرة البطيئة للتقدم من قبل اللجنة الانتخابية إلى تغذية القلق في عموم البلاد.
وسلطت المشاجرات الضوء على التوترات المتوترة داخل قاعة العد الوطنية بينما تنتظر البلاد النتائج الرسمية لانتخابات يوم الثلاثاء الماضي.
ومع استمرار السباق الضيق، ازداد غضب وكلاء الحزب في مركز الفرز ، المعروف باسم Bomas. في وقت متأخر من يوم السبت ، أمسك رئيس عملاء رايلا أودينجا ، سايتاباو أولي كانشوري ، بميكروفون وأعلن أن ” Bomas الكيني مسرح جريمة”، قبل أن يغلق المسؤولون ميكروفونه.
واشتبك وكلاء الحزب مع بعضهم البعض ، مع الشرطة ومسؤولي الانتخابات، في وقت ما في محاولة لجر أحد المسؤولين إلى الخارج. وقد قوبلت المشاهد ، التي تم بثها في الأخبار الوطنية، بالذهول من قبل الكينيين الذين حثوا قادتهم على الهدوء.
وكتب أمين كيماثي، ناشط حقوقي، على تويتر “السلوك المتهور في بوماس من قبل القادة المزعومين، والذي يمكن أن يشعل البلاد بسرعة”.
