كورونا : 10 آلاف إصابة في إفريقيا ودولتان لم يصلهما حتى الآن
ذكر مركز إفريقيا للوقاية والتحكم في الأمراض، أن عدد الإصابات بفيروس كورونا الجديد في القارة السمراء ارتفع إلى أكثر من 10 آلاف حالة.
وقال المركز، في أحدث تقرير له، الثلاثاء، إن هناك أكثر من 10 آلاف حالة إصابة بمرض “كوفيد-19” في القارة السمراء حالياً.
ووفقاً للتقارير، فإن فيروس كورونا الجديد انتشر في كل دول القارة تقريباً؛ حيث توجد إصابات بالفيروس في 52 دولة من أصل 54 دولة إفريقية.
وكانت آخر دولة إفريقية أكّدت وجود إصابات بفيروس كورونا هي جزيرة ساو تومي وبرينسيبي، وفقاً لما ذكرته وكالة الأسوشيتد برس، والدولتان الوحيدتان اللتان لم تعلنا إصابات بالفيروس على أراضيها هما مملكة ليسوتو وجزر القمر.

ويثير النقص في قدرات الاختبار في جميع أنحاء قارة إفريقيا مخاوف من أن يكون عدد الحالات الفعلية في القارة أعلى بكثير.
