فق دت الموسيقى الغينية. علما ورمزا من رموزها هو: “موري كانتي” بعد معاناة طويلة مع المرض، يوم الجمعة 22 مايو 2020
وتقول المصادر الصحفية، إنه تم العثور على جثة الفنان في منزله في وقت مبكر من صباح اليوم في منزله، وتم نقلها إلى المستشفى الصيني الغيني في كوناكري ، وفقا لابنته ، لإجراء تشريح لتحديد أسباب وفاته.
ولد الفنان “موري كانتي” في غينيا عام 1950 ، من أصل مالي ، وهو مؤلف أغنية “Yéké Yéké”، أشهر ألبوم غنائي إفريقي في العالم ، والذي حقق نجاحًا باهرًا. في عام 1988 ، حيث وصل الأبوم إلى المركز الأول في التصنيف الأوروبي .
وقد نعى الرئيس الغيني “ألفا كوندي” الفنان “موري كانتي” حيث كتب في تغريدة له هلى حسابه في تويتر”: “الثقافة الأفريقية في حداد. تعازينا ببالغ الحزن.. شكرا لك أيها الفنان. لقد كنت مسارا استثنائيا. ومثالا نفتخر به”.
