غامبيا: إمام يُعلن عن تأسيس حزب سياسي ويستعد لخوض رئاسيات 2026
في خطوة مثيرة للجدل، أعلن الإمام موسى جالو، أحد رجال الدين البارزين في غامبيا، عن تأسيس حزب سياسي جديد يحمل اسم “حزب الإصلاح والتنمية” (RDP)، مؤكدًا نيته خوض الانتخابات الرئاسية المقررة عام 2026، رغم دعوة الرئيس أداما بارو لرجال الدين بالابتعاد عن السياسة.
وفي تصريحاته للصحافة، أوضح الإمام جالو، الحاصل على درجة الماجستير في العلوم السياسية، أن حزبه ليس حزبًا دينيًا، وأن صفته كإمام لا تعني أن التشكيلة السياسية مخصصة لرجال الدين أو أن لها توجهات إسلامية حصرية.
وقال:
“كوني إمامًا لا يعني أن الحزب مكرّس للإسلام أو أنه مخصّص للأئمة أو المتطرفين. نحن كمواطنين نملك الحق في التحرك عندما نرى أن الأمور لا تسير كما ينبغي. هدفنا الرئيسي في حزب RDP هو تحسين وضع البلاد وتقديم بديل سياسي جاد”.
وانتقد جالو بشدة ما وصفه بـ”الفساد المستشري” و”ارتفاع تكاليف المعيشة”، مشددًا على أن الحكومة الحالية عاجزة عن تقديم حلول حقيقية لهذه الأزمات.
ويطمح الإمام موسى جالو إلى أن يشكّل حزبه منصة سياسية جامعة لكل الغامبيين بمختلف خلفياتهم، للمشاركة في صياغة مستقبل البلاد، بعيدًا عن التفرقة والانقسامات
