وكان التلفزيون الرسمي السوري أعلن في وقت مبكر من صباح اليوم، وفاة وزير الخارجية وليد المعلم
وذكر التلفزيون السوري على موقعه الإلكتروني أن “وزارة الخارجية والمغتربين تنعى نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء، وزير الخارجية والمغتربين، وليد المعلم، الذي وافته المنية فجر اليوم عن عمر ناهز 79 عاما”.
