سانت لويس: اختفاء ثلاثة صيادين إثر انقلاب زورق في منطقة الممر البحري
أعلنت لجنة الصيد الحرفي المحلي (CLPA) في سانت لويس عن اختفاء ثلاثة صيادين بعد انقلاب زورق عند الممر البحري بالمدينة، وفق ما أفادت به وكالة الصحافة السنغالية يوم الأربعاء.
وأشار مامادو سار، مسؤول الإعلام في اللجنة، إلى أن الحادث يأتي بعد أيام قليلة من انقلاب زورقين آخرين في نفس المنطقة يوم السبت، مما أسفر عن وفاة خمسة أشخاص. وأوضح أن الضحايا ينحدرون من حي الصيادين “غيت ندر” وبلدة “غاندول” جنوب سانت لويس.
وأضاف سار أن الزورقين تعرضا لصعوبات أثناء عبورهما الممر، ما أدى إلى فقدان أربعة ركاب من أحد الزورقين، بينما تم العثور على جثة أحد ركاب الزورق الآخر.
وأعرب عن أسفه لعدم التزام الصيادين بتعليمات اللجنة التي نقلت تحذيرات وكالة الطيران المدني والأرصاد الجوية الوطنية (ANACIM) بشأن الأحوال الجوية الخطرة وارتفاع الأمواج.
يُشار إلى أن الممر البحري في سانت لويس يُعد من النقاط المسببة للخطر بالنسبة للصيادين، وتتكرر فيه الحوادث البحرية بسبب التقلبات المناخية والتحديات التي تواجه عبوره.
