ساحل العاج: أول لقاء بين واتارا وغباغبو منذ 10 سنوات

أجرى الرئيس الإيفواري الحسن واتارا، والرئيس السابق للبلاد لوران غباغبو، اليوم بالقصر الرئاسي أول لقاء مباشر بينهما منذ 2010، تاريخ الأزمة الانتخابية في البلاد، والتي على إثرها قتل 3 آلاف شخص.
وعقد الطرفان جلسة مغلقة استمرت زهاء 30 دقيقة، بعدها أدليا بتصريح مقتضب، وصفا فيه اللقاء التاريخي بينهما ب”الأخوي” و”الهادئ”.
ودعا لوران غباغبو الرئيس واتارا إلى إطلاق سراح المعتقلين خلال الأزمة العنيفة التي أعقبت الانتخابات الرئاسية في 2010-2011، مضيفا: “لقد كنت زعيمهم، واليوم خرجت وهم ما يزالون في السجن. أود أن يبذل الرئيس كل ما في وسعه لإطلاق سراحهم”.
من جانبه علق واتارا على الأزمة بالقول: “لقد خلقت هذه الأزمة خلافات لكنها أصبحت وراءنا. ما يهم هو ساحل العاج، إنه سلام لبلدنا “.
وكان واتارا وغباغبو، الذي عاد إلى البلاد في 17 يونيو الماضي، بعد تبرئته من طرف محكمة الجنايات الدولية، قد تحدثا هاتفيا في وقت سابق.
واتفق الطرفان خلال لقائهما اليوم، على الاجتماع من حين لآخر، وأكدا على أهمية “استعادة الثقة وأن يتصالح الإيفواريون ويثقوا في بعضهم البعض”.
