دعوة الدولة إلى تعزيز دور القادة الدينيين من أجل التنمية والسلام
دكار – دعا الأمين العام للمجلس السنغالي بين الأديان من أجل السلام (CIRSP)، فيليب أبراهام تين، الحكومة السنغالية إلى تعزيز مكانة ودور القادة الدينيين، مشددًا على أن إشراك الشخصيات الدينية وإبراز قيمتها يمكن أن يقود البلاد نحو تنمية مستقرة وسلمية.
وقال تين، خلال حفل اختتام المنتدى الاستشاري حول تمكين المرأة واستعادة البيئة من أجل السلام والصمود الذي نظمه المجلس، إن «الحكام مطالبون بإبراز دور القادة الدينيين، لأنهم من أكثر قادة الرأي استماعًا وتأثيرًا في المجتمع. وتقديرهم يعني توجيه السنغال نحو تنمية هادئة».
وأكد المتحدث أن تحقيق تنمية شاملة يتطلب تغييرًا في العقليات والهياكل، وهي مهمة ينبغي أن يتصدرها القادة الدينيون. كما شدد على أن النساء والشباب يمثلون حلقة أساسية في مسار التنمية، مضيفًا: «النساء هن العمود الفقري لأسرنا ومجتمعاتنا، والشباب يجسدون مستقبل الأمة. إشراكهم يضع السنغال على طريق النهوض».
من جانبه، ركز فرانسيس كوريا كاغيما، الأمين العام لمجلس القادة الدينيين الأفارقة والمجلس الدولي للسلام، على أهمية القيادة النسائية في إنجاح مهمة استعادة البيئة. وأبرز دور المرأة في ترسيخ السلام وتعزيز الصمود داخل منطقة الساحل خصوصًا، معتبرًا أن مشاركتها الفاعلة عنصر حاسم في مواجهة التحديات
