دراسة: مرضى كورونا تحت 50 عاما لايحتاجون الأكسجين

أظهرت دراسة نشرت نتائجها اليوم الاثنين، أن أغلبية المصابين بفيروس كورونا المستجد الذين تقل أعمارهم عن 50 عاما في كوريا الجنوبية، تعافوا من المرض دون علاج بالأكسجين.وأجرى الدراسة المركز الطبي الوطني الكوري على 3,060 مصابا بفيروس كورونا، خضعوا للعلاج في 55 مستشفى في جميع أنحاء البلاد منذ تسجيل كوريا الجنوبية أول حالة إصابة بفيروس كورونا في يوم 20 يناير حتى 31 مايو.

وأشارت الدراسة إلى أن 1.2% من المصابين الذين تقل أعمارهم عن 50 عاما، احتاجوا إلى العلاج بالأكسجين أو التنفس الاصطناعي في اليوم الـ14 من ظهور أعراض كورونا.

وعلى النقيض من ذلك، احتاج 17.3% من المصابين الذين تزيد أعمارهم عن 50 عاما، إلى العلاج بالأكسجين أو التنفس الاصطناعي.

وفي اليوم الـ28 من ظهور الأعراض، احتاج 1.5 من المصابين تحت أقل من 50 عاما، و13.2% من المصابين أكثر من 50 عاما، إلى العلاج بالأكسجين أو التنفس الاصطناعي.

وبلغ معدل الوفيات من بين المصابين تحت 50 عاما صفرا في اليوم الـ28 من ظهور الأعراض، غير أن المعدل لدى المصابين في الخمسينات من العمر بلغ 0.5%، وارتفع لدى المصابين في الستينات والسبعينات والثمانينات أو أكبر إلى 0.9% و5.8% و14% على التوالي.

ونشرت الدراسة في العدد الأخير من مجلة العلوم الطبية الكورية التي تصدرها الأكاديمية الكورية للعلوم الطبية.
