جدري القرود في السنغال: 4 إصابات مؤكدة و38 حالة مخالطة تحت المراقبة
أعلنت وزارة الصحة السنغالية، اليوم الخميس، تسجيل إصابات جديدة بفيروس جدري القرود (Mpox)، ليرتفع العدد الإجمالي إلى 4 حالات مؤكدة.
وأوضح الدكتور أمادو سو، منسق خلية الاتصال بالوزارة، أن الحالة الأولى شُفيت بالكامل، فيما لا يزال 3 مرضى قيد العلاج في قسم الأمراض المعدية بمستشفى فان في داكار. وأضاف أن اثنين من هؤلاء المرضى مخالطون مباشرون للحالة الثانية.
وبحسب المصدر ذاته، جرى إحصاء 38 حالة مخالطة حتى الآن، مؤكّدًا أن ذلك لا يعني إصابتهم بالمرض، بل يستوجب فقط متابعة طبية دقيقة للتأكد من عدم تطور أعراض لاحقة.
وحول سبل الوقاية، شدد الدكتور سو على ضرورة غسل اليدين بانتظام بالماء والصابون أو بالمعقمات الكحولية، وطهي اللحوم جيدًا، وتجنّب الاحتكاك بالأشخاص الذين تظهر عليهم أعراض مشبوهة، مع التوجّه الفوري إلى المراكز الصحية عند ظهور أي علامات غير طبيعية.
الوزارة تتابع الوضع عن قرب وتؤكد أن الإجراءات الوقائية تبقى السلاح الأنجع للحد من انتشار الفيروس
