تشاد تفرج عن متمردين قبل محادثات سلام وطنية.
أفرجت السلطات الانتقالية في تشاد، الثلاثاء، عن المجموعة الأولى من نحو 250 عضوا في جماعات إرهابية، وعدت بإخلاء سبيلهم بموجب عفو يهدف إلى تعزيز الحوار بعد وفاة الرئيس إدريس ديبي في ميدان القتال في أبريل الماضي.
ورأس وزير العدل، أحمد محمد الهبو احتفالا قصيرا في سجن كليسوم القريب من العاصمة إنجمينا حيث تم الإفراج عن 22 معتقلا، كانوا قد أُدينوا بحمل السلاح ضد الحكومة المركزية خلال السنوات العشر الماضية.
وكانت السلطات الانتقالية قد دعت الجماعات الإهاربية، للانضمام إلى محادثات سلام وطنية من المقرر إجراؤها في فبراير ، لكن الجماعة المسلحة الرئيسية وهي جبهة التغيير والوفاق في تشاد قالت إنها لن تشارك في المحادثات إلا إذا قدمت الحكومة المؤقتة مبادرات سلام.
وفي تصريحات للصحفيين، قال الوزير بعد أن سلم كل مُفرج عنه شهادة العفو الخاصة به “اتفاق العفو هذا يستحق الترحيب به لأنه تعهد باستعادة الثقة بين أبناء وبنات تشاد، وإحلال السلام الاجتماعي الذي تشتد إليه الحاجة”.
ويقود المجلس العسكري الانتقالي محمد إدريس ديبي الذي استولى على السلطة بعد مقتل والده خلال زيارة للقوات التي تقاتل تمردا في الشمال.
وقال رئيس المجلس إن المحادثات الوطنية تمهيد لا غنى عنه للانتخابات الرئاسية والبرلمانية.
