تشاد : الانتخابات الرئاسية في تشاد: الاتحاد الأوروبي يدين استبعاد مراقبي الانتخابات

أعرب الاتحاد الأوروبي يوم 7 مايو/أيار في تشاد عن أسفه لاستبعاد 2900 مراقب من المجتمع المدني، قائلا إنه يضر “بشفافية” الانتخابات الرئاسية التي جرت في اليوم السابق (6 مايو/أيار)، والتي شككت فيها المعارضة والمنظمات غير الحكومية الدولية.

وبالفعل، احتجت أربع منظمات من المجتمع المدني التشادي، بما في ذلك الرابطة التشادية لحقوق الإنسان، يوم الأحد 5 مايو 2024، على رفض اللجنة الانتخابية إصدار اعتمادات لـ 2900 من أعضائها “لمراقبة التصويت”. رغم الطلبات المقدمة “ضمن المواعيد المحددة”.

ولذلك، فإن الاتحاد الأوروبي في تشاد “يأسف لعدم اعتماد منظمات المجتمع المدني هذه”.

وترى أن “اللجنة الانتخابية التي عين أعضاؤها من قبل الرئيس المنتهية ولايته إدريس ديبي، “حالت دون مساهمتها في شفافية العملية الانتخابية”، التي “مولتها بمبلغ 3,8 مليون يورو، بأموال أوروبية”.

ندد حزب رئيس الوزراء التشادي سوكيس ماسرا، المرشح للانتخابات الرئاسية في 6 مايو، اليوم الأربعاء 8 مايو، بـ “أعمال العنف والتهديدات الخطيرة” ضد زعيمه ومؤيديه وكذلك عمليات التزوير، داعيا “الشعب” إلى “التحرك”. “دافع عن إرادتك المعبر عنها في صناديق الاقتراع”.

أعربت الفدرالية الدولية لحقوق الإنسان (FIDH) عن قلقها منذ يوم الجمعة 3 مايو 2024، بشأن “انتخابات لا تبدو ذات مصداقية ولا حرة ولا ديمقراطية”، “في سياق ضار يتسم (…) بتكاثر الأصوات” انتهاكات حقوق الإنسان”.

كما أعربت مجموعة الأزمات الدولية، وهي منظمة غير حكومية، عن “شكوكها حول مصداقية الانتخابات” بعد الإطاحة بمرشحين من “معارضة سياسية مكممة”.

ومن المقرر إعلان النتائج الرسمية في 21 مايو وجولة ثانية محتملة في 22 يونيو 2024.
