ترامب يعلن عن “العودة المنتصرة لأمريكا” إلى النجوم

وصف الرئيس الأمريكي، دونالد ترامب، عملية إطلاق صاروخ “Falcon 9″، الذي يحمل المركبة الفضائية “Crew Dragon”، بـ”العودة المنتصرة” للولايات المتحدة إلى النجوم.

وقال ترامب، في تصريح أدلى به في المطار الفضائي بكانافيرال في ولاية فلوريدا، الذي جرى منه الإطلاق: “اجتمعنا اليوم في هذا المكان الرائع من أجل الاحتفال ليس فقط بإطلاق مركبة فضائية جديدة، وإنما بالعودة الشجاعة والمنتصرة إلى النجوم. إنه يوم خاص”.

وأضاف: “الزعماء السابقون دفعوا الولايات المتحدة إلى الاعتماد على القوى الأجنبية، التي أرسلت روادنا إلى المدار، هذا لن يحدث مرة أخرى، نحن الآن نرسل بفخر رواد الفضاء الأمريكيين على متن الصواريخ الأمريكية، وهي الأفضل في العالم، من هنا، من الأرض الأمريكية”.

وأكد ترامب أن المركبة الفضائية وصلت بنجاح إلى المدار المنخفض حول الأرض، مشيرا إلى أن طاقمها، المكون من رائدي فضاء، في حالة جيدة.

وتابع: “تجاوزنا رسميا بعد هذا الإطلاق عقود السنين الضائعة والإجراءات العاجزة. بدأ عصر جديد للطموحات الأمريكية”.

ويعتبر إطلاق صاروخ “Falcon 9” لشركة “SpaceX”، الذي من شأنه إيصال طاقم المركبة الفضائية “Crew Dragon” إلى المحطة الفضائية الدولية، أول رحلة مأهولة نفذتها الولايات المتحدة من أراضيها منذ 9 سنوات.

وأوقفت وكالة “NASA” تنفيذ عمليات إطلاق الرحلات المأهولة من الأراضي الأمريكية في 2011، ليتم منذ ذلك الحين إرسال رواد الفضاء الأمريكيين إلى المحطة الفضائية الدولية بصواريخ “سويوز” الروسية.
