كما جرت العادة في كل عام،قامت جمعية الواحة للأعمال الإنسانية بالتنسيق مع سفارة دولة الإمارات المتحدة بتوزيع لحوم الأضاحي على مجموعة كبيرة من الفقراء والمحتاجين في الملعب الوطني ب ” تكنبول” في العاصمة السنغالية دكار
وقد حضر عدد كبير ما أهالي الحي من رجال ونساء وشيوخ ومقعدين ،ليتسلموا نصيبهم من هذه اللحوم التي تعودت هيئة الهلال الأحمر الإماراتية على تقديمها للمعوزين بمناسبة الأعياد الدينية مثل عيد الفطر وعيد الأضحى في مختلف دول العالم ،
هذا وقد عبر المستفيدون عن شكرهم وتقديرهم لهيئة الهلال الأحمر ولأهل الخير بالإمارات العربية المتحدة ، وركزوا في دعائهم وتشكراتهم على شيوخ دولة الإمارات
وبالأخص الشيخ حمدان بن زايد رئيس هيئة الهلال الأحمر وجميع منسوبي الهيئة
ونشير إلى أن قافلة التوزيع واصلت بعد محطة دكار إلى كامبما مقاطعة امبور حيث تم توزيع واسع على المحتاجين هناك ، وحظيت كذلك مدينة تامبا كوندا بنصيب من لحوم أضاحي هيئة الهلال الأحمر الإماراتي.
