بوركينافاسو: إحتجاجات ضد عودة الرئيس السابق “كومباوري ” من المنفى
تظاهر عدد من المواطنين في بوركينا فاسو، الجمعة، احتجاجا على عودة الرئيس السابق بليز كومباوري إلى البلاد، لحضور اجتماع دعا له المجلس العسكري الحاكم بشأن أزمة العنف.
وتجمع المتظاهرون أمام منزل كومباوري في العاصمة واغادوغو لمنعه من الحضور، بينما تجمعت شرطة مكافحة الشغب في المكان للسيطرة على المتظاهرين، وفقا لوكالة أسوشييتد برس.
وعاد كومباوري الذي أطاحت به انتفاضة شعبية عام 2014، من ساحل العاج إلى بوركينا فاسو أمس الخميس لحضور اجتماع مع قادة سابقين آخرين.
وفي وقت سابق، دعا زعيم المجلس العسكري الحاكم بول هنري سانداوغو داميبا إلى اجتماع اليوم يضم خمسة رؤساء سابقين للبلاد، حضر منهم اثنان فقط، وهم كومباوري وجان بابتيست ويدراوجو، الذي حكم البلاد لمدة 9 أشهر بين عامي 1982 و1983 عندما كانت تعرف باسم “فولتا العليا”.
ودافع داميبا، في بيان بثه التلفزيون الرسمي، عن قراره السماح لكومباوري بزيارة البلاد، قائلا إن عودته “لا تهدف إلى تكريس الإفلات من العقاب، ولكن للمساهمة في البحث عن حلول لبوركينا فاسو يسودها السلام والتماسك”، حسب البيان.
وأكد أن المجلس العسكري سيواصل النقاشات مع الذين لم يتمكنوا من حضور الاجتماع.
وكانت محكمة في بوركينا فاسو أدانت كومباوري بالتواطؤ في قتل الرئيس السابق توماس سانكارا عام 1987 وحكمت عليه بالسجن مدى الحياة، لكنه نفى علاقته بذلك. –
