استقبلت جمعية الصحفيين الإمارتية، بأبوظبي، أمس الأربعاء عددا من الصحفيين العرب والأفارقة المشاركين في تغطية فعاليات برنامج “أمير الشعراء” الذي تنظمه لجنة إدارة المهرجانات والبرامج الثقافية والتراثية بأبوظبي وبمـشاركة سنغالية مشرفة.


أقيمت خلال الزيارة حلقة نقاشية للوفد الإعلامي العربي والأفريقي، مع محمد الحمادي، رئيس مجلس إدارة جمعية الصحفيين الإمارتية، بحضور حسين بن علي المناعي نائب رئيس الجمعية، وحسن يوسف عمران أمين الصندوق، وعمر السعيد مدير فرع جمعية الصحفيين في أبو ظبي، وعدد من الصحفيين الإماراتيين.

و ذكر الحمادي أنه مضى على إشهار الجمعية ما يقارب 20 عاماً، وكانت أنشطتها تقتصر على الصحفيين العاملين بالمؤسسات الصحفية، ومع مواكبة الجمعية للتطورات التقنية المتسارعة للإنتاج الإعلامي، قامت بتعديل نظامها الأساسي قبل 3 سنوات، بغية اشراك الصحفيين العاملين بالصحافة الرقمية، ومراكز الأخبار بالتلفزيون والإذاعة، نظرا لما يفرضه التطور التقني وضرورة مواكبته ومسايرته، و الإنفتاح على كل جديد ذي صلة بالإنتاج الصحفي، حتى وصل عدد الأعضاء إلى 1300 عضو.

ونوه الحمادي، إلى إصدار سمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد بن سعيد آل مكتوم ؛ نائب رئيس دولة الإمارات رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي ووزير الدفاع، بعدم حبس الصحفي لأسباب تتعلق بممارسه عمله المهني، وأن هناك ميثاق شرف إعلامي ينظم أداء الصحفي لمهام عمله، وأكد كذلك على انفتاح جمعية الصحفيين الإماراتية على كافة الجمعيات والنقابات في الوطن العربي وخارجه من أجل مد جسور التعاون وتوطيد أواصر العلاقة بين الصحفيين في الإمارات ونظرائهم في الخارج.

وأشار الحمادي، إلى أن الصحافة الإماراتية حرصت على إبراز المشاريع التنموية الحكومية والخاصة المقامة على أرض الدولة، وهذه السمة ميزتها عن غيرها من الصحف، منوهاً إلى أن الصحافة الإماراتية كانت من أولى الصحف العربية التي تبنت إنشاء المواقع الإلكترونية منذ منتصف التسعينيات، كما سايرت التطور الذي تشهده وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي.
