بعد 5 سنوات من طرحه.. خط غاز بين المغرب ونيجيريا يعود للواجهة
عاد الحديث مجددا عن مد خط أنبوب غاز يربط المغرب بنيجيريا، بعد 5 سنوات من طرحه رسميا بين البلدين، وأربع سنوات على توقيع اتفاقية تفاهم لإنشائه.
ومساء الأحد، قال العاهل المغربي محمد السادس والرئيس النيجيري محمد بخاري، إنهما يعتزمان مواصلة المشاريع الاستراتيجية وإنجازها في أقرب الآجال، خاصة خط الغاز بين البلدين، وإحداث مصنع لإنتاج الأسمدة في نيجيريا.
جاء ذلك، بحسب بيان للديوان الملكي، اطلعت الأناضول على نسخة منه، عقب إجراء العاهل المغربي أمس، مباحثات هاتفية مع الرئيس النيجيري.
ولم يضف البيان أي تفاصيل إضافية عن المشروع الذي يمتد طوله 5660 كلم، ويمر عبر عدة دول إفريقية، على أن يتم تطوير الأنبوب ليصل إلى أوروبا في مرحلة لاحقة.
ويمر الأنبوب من بلدان غانا وتوغو وساحل العاج والسنغال وموريتانيا ثم المغرب، وهو امتداد لأنبوب أنشأته نيجيريا عام 2005، لمد بلدان إفريقية بمصدر الطاقة.
ويقول المغرب، إن المشروع في حال إتمامه، سيشجع على اندماج بين منطقتي شمال وغرب أفريقيا، فضلا عن تحقيق الاستقلالية في مجال الطاقة، وتسريع وتيرة إنجاز مشاريع مد الكهرباء.
وفي يونيو / حزيران 2018، وقعت المغرب ونيجيريا، على ثلاث اتفاقيات للتعاون الثنائي، واحدة منها مرتبطة بمشروع لأنبوب الغاز الرابط بين البلدين
