بعد مرور 10 سنوات على “التشاور الوطني حول مستقبل التعليم العالي”، تستعد السنغال لتنظيم جلسات وطنية جديدة موجهة لتحويل التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي والابتكار. جاء هذا الإعلان على لسان الأستاذ حميدو داتي، المدير العام للبحث والابتكار، خلال افتتاح “الملتقى الوطني للدراسات العليا في الرياضيات والمعلوماتية” بجامعة الشيخ أنتا ديوب يوم الثلاثاء.
وأوضح داتي أن الجلسات ستُركز بشكل أساسي على تعزيز مكانة البحث العلمي، الذي يعاني حاليًا من نقص واضح في التمويل مقارنة بالجوانب التربوية والاجتماعية في القطاع. وصرّح قائلًا:
“ما نلاحظه اليوم هو أن الجزء المتعلق بالتدريس والخدمات الاجتماعية يستهلك معظم الموارد، بينما تظل ميزانية البحث والابتكار غير كافية لتحقيق تطورها المنشود.”
وأكد المدير العام أن الهدف ليس تقليص التمويل، بل إعادة هيكلته وتوجيهه نحو البحث العلمي. وبحسب الدراسات، يحتاج البحث العلمي إلى 1% على الأقل من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي ليكون فعّالًا، وهو رقم ما يزال السنغال بعيدًا عن تحقيقه.
وتأتي هذه الجلسات ضمن سياسة شاملة يقودها وزير التعليم العالي عبد الرحمن ديوف، تماشيًا مع رؤية الرئيس باسيرو جوماي فاي. وناشد داتي المدارس العليا والأساتذة الباحثين للمشاركة في هذه النقاشات لضمان نتائج بناءة.
