قدمت وزارة الصحة والعمل الاجتماعي تقييما للوضع اليومي لتطور Covid-19 في السنغال ، اليوم الجمعة ، 8 يناير 2021.
حيث اعلنت عن تسجيل 296 حالة إصابة جديدة بفيروس كورونا من بين 2270 اختبارا أجريت. أي بنسبة إيجابية تبلغ 13.04٪.
وتوزعت الحالات الإيجابية على النحو التالي: 154 حالة اتصال مباشر ، و 00 حالة مستوردة و 142 حالة ناتجة عن انتقال المجتمع.

فيما جاءت نتيحة اختبار 131 مريضا في المستشفى سلبية وأعلن عن شفائهم.

وتتم معالجة 34 حالة خطيرة بوحدات العناية المركزة بالمستشفى.

بينما تم تسجيل 08 حالة وفاة يوم الخميس الموافق 7 يناير 2021. ولا تزال الحالة الصحية للمرضى الآخرين مستقرة.

حتى الآن ، تم الإعلان عن 20672 حالة إيجابية ، بما في ذلك 18.016 شُفيت ، و 446 حالة وفاة و 2209 مرضى يخضعون للعلاج.
