إنفاذًا لتوجيهات خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود بدأت المديرية العامة للجوازات تمديد صلاحية الإقامات للوافدين الموجودين خارج المملكة، وتمديد صلاحية تأشيرات الزيارة، وتأشيرات الخروج والعودة، وذلك آليًا من دون رسوم أو مقابل مالي إلى تاريخ 23 / 2 / 1443هـ، الموافق 30 / 9 / 2021م.
ويأتي هذا التمديد الذي أصدره معالي وزير المالية، في إطار الجهود المتواصلة التي تتخذها حكومة المملكة للتعامل مع آثار وتبعات الجائحة العالمية (كوفيد – 19)، وضمن الإجراءات الاحترازية والتدابير الوقائية التي تضمن سلامة المواطنين والمقيمين، وتسهم في التخفيف من الآثار الاقتصادية والمالية.
وأكدت “الجوازات”، أن التمديد سيتم آليًا بالتعاون مع مركز المعلومات الوطني دون الحاجة إلى مراجعة مقار إدارات الجوازات، وذلك على النحو التالي:
أولًا: تمديد صلاحية الإقامات وتأشيرات الخروج والعودة للمقيمين الموجودين خارج المملكة في الدول التي يتم تعليق القدوم منها نتيجة تفشي فيروس كورونا فيها، ليكون إلى تاريخ 23 / 2 / 1443 هـ الموافق 30 / 9 / 2021م.
ثانيًا: تمديد صلاحية تأشيرات الزيارة للزائرين الموجودين خارج المملكة من الدول التي يتم تعليق القدوم منها نتيجة تفشي فيروس كورونا فيها، ليكون إلى تاريخ 23 / 2 / 1443 هـ الموافق 30 / 9 / 2021م.
