3 قتلى جراء أعمال عنف تسبق الانتخابات التشريعية في السنغال.

خلّفت اشتباكات بين شبّان وعناصر من الشرطة قتيلين الجمعة في داكار وبجنوب السنغال، حيث تحوّل التصعيد اللفظي خلال الأسابيع الأخيرة بين السلطة والمعارضة إلى مواجهات قبل شهر ونصف شهر من الانتخابات التشريعيّة.
وقال حسينو لي، المتحدّث باسم حزب “باستيف” المعارض، إنّه جرى اعتقال ثلاثة شخصيّات معارضة. وذكر أنّ زعيم المعارضة عثمان سونكو ورئيس بلديّة دكار بارتيليمي دياس، وهو من أشدّ المنتقدين للرئيس ماكي صال، قد منعتهما قوّات الأمن من مغادرة منزليهما.
وشهدت أحياء مختلفة من العاصمة اشتباكات بين شبّان عمدوا إلى رشق الحجارة والشرطة التي حاولت تفريقهم بالغاز المسيل للدموع والقنابل الصوتيّة وسط دخان إطارات محترقة. وفي كازامانس (جنوب) اتّهمت المعارضة القوّات الأمنيّة بإطلاق ذخيرة حيّة.
وقال مسؤول في الصليب الأحمر طلب عدم كشف هويته إنّ شخصًا في داكار لقي حتفه عندما أدّى مقذوف إلى اندلاع النار في مكان كان موجودًا بداخله. كذلك، أفاد الإعلام المحلي والمعارضة بمقتل شخص ثانٍ في كازامانس.
ويخشى كثير من السنغاليّين تصاعد التوتّر منذ أن منعت السلطات الأربعاء المعارضة من التظاهر بعد ظهر الجمعة. وكانت المعارضة تعتزم الاحتجاج على إبطال لائحة وطنيّة تضمّ مرشّحين للانتخابات التشريعيّة في 31 تمّوز/يوليو.
ومنع عناصر من الشرطة يرتدون بزّات مكافحة الشغب وكانوا مدعومين بعربات مدرّعة، أيّ شخص من الاقتراب من ميدان الأمّة حيث كان مقرّرًا أن يُنَظّم التجمّع، بعيدًا عن المركز السياسي والاقتصادي للعاصمة.
ولم تعط السلطة والمعارضة أي مؤشر على الرغبة في تقديم تنازلات ويقول محللون إن البلاد تمر بمأزق سياسي.
