الكاميرون: مقتل ستة أشخاص في هجوم على حافلة

أعلنت الحكومة ، مساء الأربعاء ، مقتل ستة أشخاص في هجوم مسلح منسوب إلى انفصاليين ناطقين بالإنجليزية في منطقة جنوب غرب الكاميرون.

  وقال المتحدث باسم الحكومة الكاميرونية إيمانويل رينيه سادي في بيان يوم الثلاثاء 6 سبتمبر في بلدة مويوكا ، “فتحت عصابة من الإرهابيين المدججين بالسلاح النار على حافلة نقل على متنها 14 راكبا”.

  وقالت الحكومة الكاميرونية إن “حصيلة هذا الهجوم الإرهابي الوحشي تظهر ستة قتلى وثمانية جرحى” ، مضيفة أنه تم نقل جميع الضحايا إلى المستشفى الإقليمي في بويا ، عاصمة المنطقة الجنوبية والجنوبية.

  أدانت السلطات الكاميرونية “بأكبر قدر من الحزم ، هذا الهجوم الجبان والخسيس الذي ارتكب ضد المدنيين من قبل الإرهابيين الانفصاليين الذين فقدوا قيم الإنسانية جمعاء” في سعيهم لإقامة دولة انفصالية في المنطقة الناطقة باللغة الإنجليزية من البلاد.

  وبحسب الحكومة الكاميرونية ، فإن هذا الهجوم كان يهدف إلى المساومة على بدء العام الدراسي الذي وقع في 5 سبتمبر في الكاميرون.

  في تقريرها العالمي لعام 2022 ، قدرت منظمة هيومن رايتس ووتش غير الحكومية مقتل ما لا يقل عن 4000 مدني على أيدي القوات الحكومية والمقاتلين الانفصاليين المسلحين منذ نهاية عام 2016 في المناطق الشمالية الغربية والجنوبية، والانفصاليون يطالبون باستقلال الأقلية في البلاد المناطق الناطقة باللغة الإنجليزية.
