أكد وزير الداخلية السنغالية على دور المواطن في الحفاظ على الأمن وممتلكات الوطن ومنجزاته ، والكشف على الجريمة والمجرمين من منطلق الانتماء للوطن مشدداً على ان مهنة الامن لم تعد مرتبطة بمفهوم العنف والخوف كما يتبادر الى اذهان البعض ، بل كانت ولا زالت ذلك المفهوم الشامل للأمن العام والمرتبط بالطمأنينة والسعادة ونشر الحب والتعاون بين الجميع.
وأوضح الوزير أن الأمن التعاوني “يجعل من الممكن تكييف نظامنا الأمني مع التحديات الحالية والمستقبلية من خلال جعله أكثر كثافة بفضل المساهمة الخيرية للسكان.
وقال إن “الجريمة المنظمة العابرة للحدود لا تستثني أي دولة ، ومن ثم فإن المسؤولية المشتركة للدول في إنشاء آليات للتعاون الدولي وتبادل الخبرات وتبادل الممارسات الجيدة”.
