على جناح السفر نحو فُوتَا الحبيبة، وفي إحدى محطات السيارات، التقط أذني بعضَ كلمات من حوار حول ثمن تذكرة السفر بين مدينة سينلويس وانْجُومْ، وذلك بين مسافر ما وسائق سيارة أو مساعد سائق ربما، لا أدري.. وانتهى الحوار بالسؤال التالي: هل أنت معلم؟ وبالجواب: لست معلما.

لماذا هذا السؤال ؟ وما مناسبته؟ وما مغزاه الاجتماعي في تلك الظروف؟

هل أنت معلم؟؟
في جو غير متوتر، وبفترة ممدودة للمساومة عن أجرة نقل، أو تذكرة سفر، ورد هذا السؤال الذي يحمل رسالة همز أولمز نحو المعلمين كافة… رسالة جرحت شعوري بعمق، لانتسابي إلى سلك المعلمين منذ طفولتي… وغالبا ما تنتقص أمثال هذا السؤال من شخصية هؤلاء السادة المجاهدين، وتصدر من ألسنة أكثر طبقات المجتمع السنغالي تعمّدا، وبدون وعي على خطورة تلكم الرسائل السلبية المخيفة التي تحملها تلك العبارات… ويمكن أن نستنبط من خلفياتها الفكرية ما يلي:
ـ لا ترضي بثمن هذه التذكرة لأنك معلم؛ والمعلم بخيل أو قتور؛ هذا مع العلاوة التاريخية على أجوركم (كما تُقرّون) فأنتم في حال يحسبكم الجميع عليه ، فلماذا بعد ذلك تبخلون؟
“وأما من بخل واستغنى وكذب بالحسنى فسنيسره للعسرى” …
يستكثر تلك الزيادات الأخيرة في رواتب المعلمين، والتي تناولتها وسائل الإعلام بالتطبيل والإعلان؛ قبل إنجازها، وبعد لفّ ودوران من جانب الموظِّفين، وإضرابات واحتجاجات من جانب النقابيين.. زيد في رواتبهم ما زيد، ورفع من عامّة الأسعار أضعافه.. ولكن المعلم بخيل.. هكذا ينبني تصور الإنسان السنغالي تجاه المعلم..
ـ لا ترضي بثمن هذه التذكرة لأنك معلم؛ والمعلم ناقد بالسليقة ينقد ويعارض ارتفاع الأسعار، إذا حصل بدون مبرر اقتصادي مقبول.. “ولا تبخسوا الناس أشياءهم”
ـ لا ترضي بثمن هذه التذكرة لأنك معلم؛ والمعلم فيلسوف يطرح الأسئلة ليوقظ الوعي فيمن حوله، ولا يريد أن يدفع عن وهمٍ ثمن سلعة أو تذكرة لم يتأكد من قدرها وقيمتها؛ لأنه من أولي الأبصار.. “فاعتبروا يا أولي الأبصار”
ـ لا ترضي بثمن هذه التذكرة لأنك معلم؛ والمعلم محاسب والحساب يدعو إلى التريُّث في إجراء العمليات العقليّة حتى لا يخرج بنتائج احتمالية، أو خاطئة.. “لتعلموا عدد السنين والحساب”
ـ لا ترضي بثمن هذه التذكرة لأنك معلم، والمعلم في السنغال لا يكاد يكفيه راتبه الشهري لتلبية حاجاته الاجتماعية والأسرية، يلمس المرتّب بأنامله ولا يقدر أن يقبضه بكفه حتى ينفلت إلى جيوب تجار الطعام والسكن والدواء والمواصلات قسمة بينهم، دون عياله.. “تلك إذا قسمة ضيزى”
عَوْدا إلى تصور الإنسان السنغالي الذي يسم المعلم بالبخل والتقتير، ويتجاهل كل ما سوى هذه الأطروحة من فرضيات سابقة ومُحتمَلة.. وينشر تصوره بعبارات مختلفة، وكلها خطيرة جدّا في تلويث سمعة بُناة الأجيال، ومهذّبي الأخلاق؛ لنقول بأن مهنة التعليم شرف وأي شرف والمعلم إنسان ليس كجميع البشر، اختاره المجتمع ليُعلِّم بعدما تعلَّم، ولا ينجح في مهمته إلا إذا علَّم الخير بكليته: فيعلّم كلَّ الخير وخير الكلّ، من معارف ومهارات وأخلاق… “خيركم من تعلم القرآن وعلمه”
فهل يُعقل أن يكون هذا المختار المرموق في الدرك الاسفل من الأخلاق، بخيلا قتورا؟ وإلا لماذا لانعزلهم من مناصبهم جميعا، قبل أن يُعلّموا أطفالنا وشبابنا التقتير، ويبنوا مستقبل أوطاننا على البخل والمنع… “ولا تجعل يدك مغلولة إلى عنقك…”
وأعجب من ذلك كله! كيف يجمع الإنسان السنغالي في تصوره بين القناعة بأن الذي يمتهن البذل والعطاء في معلوماته، ومكتسباته الفكرية، ويتميّز بالتضحية في طاقاته الجسدية والعقلية، هو من يبخل بدراهم معدودة ؟
أم أن تلك الدراهم لم تتوفر لديه كما توفرت عنده المعارف؛ وفاقد الشيء لا يعطيه .. ولما طلب من الضبع أن يرشح أبخل إنسان أتى بأفقرهم.. كما في الأمثال الشعبية.
يدعو هذا التصور العجيب من الإنسان السنغالي إلى خوف شديد ورعب بليغ من المفكرين في مستقبل التربية الوطنية على ما بُلينا به من التدني في مستوى الرأي العام السنغالي؛ إذا كان هذا الرأيُ يتبنّى تعميمَ مرض نفسي عويص كالبخل أو وعكة خُلُقية كالتقتير؛ فيُعمِّمهما على وظيفة أو مهنة واحدة بجميع المنتسبين إليها ذكرا كان أم أنثى، شابا كان أم كهلا، في خدمة هو أو متقاعد… فما لمجتمع لا يكادون يفقهون شيئا من أبجديات علم النفس العام ولا الخاص، ويطلقون الأحكام جزافا.
قبل أيام قليلة من هذا الحدث سمعت امرأة تحكي قصة أحدٍ ممن يعدّ قطع السكر في علبته؛ وهي ترمي تلك التهم كالعادة إلى ساحة المعلمين وتقول: “هم يعرفون عدد القطع في علبة السكر، كما يقسمون مجموعها في أيام الشهر أو الأسبوع حسب حجم الأسرة، بل يُحصون أرقام عود الثقاب ويحاسبون زوجاتهم إذا ضيعن واحدا منها”
يا لها من أزمة اجتماعية وراءها أزمات بعضها فوق بعض… فالخطب جلل والطين بلل! لهضمهم حقوق المعلمين الماديّة، منذ أمد بعيد في تاريخ التعليم السنغالي، بتخصيص رواتب زهيدة لا تكفي؛ جعلتهم محل رحمة الرحماء وموضع سخرية البُلهاء.. رواتب يُرثى لحال أصحابها غالبا، في ظرف زمني تتسابق فيه الأسعار إلى الغلاء. وذلك أوهن من هضمهم حقوق المعلم المعنوية بالهمز واللمز المستمرَّين، والمُجمَع عليهما من غالب طبقات المجتمع السنغالي. نوّر الله من يقول: “إذا أردت أن تهدم قيم مجتمع ما فابدأ بالمعلمين، اطعن فيهم واحتقرهم كي لا يكونوا قدوة لتلاميذهم”
