نيجيريا: الجيش يستعيد قاعدة عسكرية سيطرت عليها داعش
أعلن الجيش النيجيري عن استعادة السيطرة على قاعدة “مارته” العسكرية الواقعة شمال شرق البلاد، بعد “معارك طاحنة” خاضها ضد مقاتلي تنظيم “داعش” بغرب إفريقيا.
وأوضح الجيش النيجيري في بيان صادر عنه أن عناصر منه “بالتنسيق مع القوات الجوية، دمرت 7 شاحنات عسكرية” تابعة “لداعش وبوكوحرام”، مضيفا أنه “قتل العديد” من مسلحي المجموعة.
وتحدثت وسائل إعلام محلية عن أن عناصر الجماعات المسلحة غادرت منطقة “مارته”، حيث فر خوفا من العنف، آلاف المدنيين إلى “مايدوغوري” عاصمة ولاية “بورنو” الواقعة على بعد 130 كلم.
وكان عدد من المسلحين، هاجموا مساء الجمعة قاعدة “مارته” الاستراتيجية العسكرية، وسيطروا عليها قبل أن يتم طردهم من طرف الجيش النيجيري لاحقا.
