موريتانيا: بدء حفر 4 آبار في حقل غاز مشترك مع السنغال

أعلنت وزارة البترول والطاقة والمعادن الموريتانية، الثلاثاء، بدء أعمال حفر 4 آبار في حقل غاز مشترك مع السنغال.
وقالت الوزارة، في بيان عبر حسابها على فيسبوك، “بدأ فعليا حفر أربع آبار في حقل غاز السلحفاة الكبير (آحميم) المشترك” بين نواكشوط وداكار.
وأشارت الوزارة إلى أن أشغال الحفر في الآبار الأربع ستنتهي خلال تسعة أشهر.
وكان وزير البترول والطاقة والمعادن الموريتاني عبد السلام ولد محمد صالح، أعلن في 4 مارس/ آذار الماضي، أن إنتاج حقل “السلحفاة الكبير” سيبدأ في نوفمبر/ تشرين الثاني 2023.
ولفت الوزير الموريتاني، في حينه، إلى أن تنفيذ الأشغال في مشروع استخراج الغاز من هذا الحقل وصلت إلى 76 في المئة.
ووقعت موريتانيا والسنغال في فبراير/ شباط 2020، اتفاقية تسويق المرحلة الأولى من الحقل المشترك.
وتقدر شركة “بريتيش بتروليوم” البريطانية التي اكتشفت الحقل، وشريكتها في استغلاله “كوسموس” الأمريكية، احتياطات الحقل بـ 25 تريليون قدم مكعب من الغاز
