تشهد قضية رجل الأعمال السنغالي بوكار سامبا جيي ضد بنك CBAO منعطفًا جديدًا. وقد اتصلت جمعية حماية حقوق الإنسان (APDH) رسميًا بالرئيس بسيرو جوماي فاي لطلب تدخله المباشر في هذه القضية التي تُهزّ عالم الأعمال.
ووفقًا لصحيفة SourceA، تُدين جمعية حماية حقوق الإنسان، برئاسة الدكتور مباي سيسي، اختلال توازن القوى بين رجل الأعمال السنغالي المخضرم والشركة التابعة لمجموعة التجاري وفا بنك.
وتدعو الجمعية الدولة إلى حماية المواطنين من المؤسسات المالية الأجنبية ومراجعة اللوائح التي تُنظّم هذه العلاقات.
⚖️ على الرغم من صدور عدة أحكام لصالحه، بما في ذلك أمرٌ ضد البنك بدفع 11 مليار فرنك أفريقي له، لا يزال بوكار سامبا جيي يُلاحق قضائيًا من قِبل بنك CBAO.
يقول التاجر، الذي يعمل منذ عام ١٩٥٧، أنه كان ضحية احتيال وممارسات مصرفية تعسفية.
في عام ٢٠٢٤، أكدت محكمة استئناف تييس ومحكمة داكار خطأ البنك، إذ قضتا بأن السيد جيي مستحقٌّ لأكثر من ٨٧٩ مليون فرنك أفريقي.
ورغم ذلك، تلت ذلك إجراءات إخلاء ودعاوى قضائية جديدة، مما أجّج معركة قانونية لا تنتهي.
وتطالب جمعية حقوق الإنسان في أفريقيا (APDH) الآن بـ”المسؤولية الأخلاقية للدولة” لمنع الرجل العجوز من “مواجهة مصير ظالم ومأساوي”.
