وأشار إلى أن النبي كشف عن هذه المعجزة في الحديث الشريف الذي رواه الصحابي عمرو بن الحمق حيث قال: “تكون فتنة، يكون أسلم الناس فيها، أو قال: خير الناس فيها الجند الغربي”، قال ابن الحمق: “فلذلك قدمت عليكم مصر”، مؤكدا “أن مصر بلد الأمن والأمان، السالم شعبها وجيشها من الفتن، والمعافى من القلاقل والاضطرابات وهو الذي لم يصبه ما أصاب غيره من شعوب الأرض عبر التاريخ”.
وأضاف المفتي في بيان له تزامن مع الاحتفالات بذكرى يومي ثورة 30 يونيو و3 يوليو، “أن الثالث من يوليو كان يوما فارقا في تاريخ مصر الحديث تداركتنا فيه العناية الإلهية”، موضحا “أن المصريين أعلنوا عدم رضاهم بتمكن الإخوان من السلطة، والفقهاء قرروا أن ولاية السلطة عقد اجتماعي رضائي بين الشعوب والحكام
