كورونا: ما هو البلد الأوروبي الوحيد الذي لم يكترث لهذا الوباء؟

تُعَدّ أوروبا الآن مركزا لوباء فيروس كورونا، لكن بلدا واحدا في القارة العجوز لم تتجه فيه السلطات إلى تغييرات جذرية في مجريات الحياة اليومية.
هذا البلد الفريد من نوعه في عديد من الأوجه هو “بيلاروسيا” الذي يسلك مسلكا مغايرا تماما عن بقية دول أوروبا بل وأقرب الدول المجاورة له، روسيا وأوكرانيا.
وبينما تقف أوكرانيا على عتبة فرض حالة الطوارئ، وبينما تغلق روسيا المدارس، وتلغي كل الحفلات الجماعية، وتحظر كل الرحلات الجوية الداخلية والخارجية – فإن مجريات الحياة في بيلاروسيا تسير على نحو عادي، كأن شيئا لم يحدث.
ولا تزال حدود بيلاروسيا مفتوحة، ولا يزال الناس يذهبون إلى أعمالهم، ولم تشهد أوراق المراحيض إقبالا غير اعتيادي.

يقول رئيس بيلاروسيا ألكسندر لوكاشنكو إنه لا حاجة لكي تتخذ بلاده أي تدابير وقائية ضد انتشار فيروس كورونا.
وأكد لوكاشنكو في اجتماع مع السفير الصيني في العاصمة مينسك أن “هذه الأمور واردة. وأن أهم شيء هو عدم الذعر!”.
ولم تغلق بيلاروسيا دور السينما ولا المسارح، كما لم تحظر أي احتفالات جماعية.
يقول الرئيس لوكاشنكو إنه لا يوجد ما يدعو للقلق، لأن كل الوافدين من خارج البلاد يخضعون للفحص الطبي، وذلك للكشف عما إذا كانوا مصابين بفيروس كورونا.
ويضيف لوكاشنكو: “يوميا تُظهر الفحوصات إيجابية اثنين أو ثلاثة أشخاص للإصابة بالفيروس – وعندئذ يوضع المصابون في الحجر الصحي قبل أن يُفرَج عنهم بعد أسبوع ونصف أو بعد أسبوعين”.

يؤكد لوكاشنكو على خطورة القلق وضعف الحالة النفسية في مواجهة الفيروس، وقد أصدر أوامره لجهاز المخابرات في البلاد بـ “تعقّب الأوغاد” الذين ينشرون الذعر بين الجماهير.
وسجلت بيلاروسيا حتى الآن 86 إصابة بـكورونا وحالتي وفاة رغم أن السلطات لم تؤكد أنهما بسبب الإصابة بالفيروس.
إلى ذلك، تعتبر بيلاروسيا متفردة في عدد من الأوجه. فهي الدولة الأوروبية الوحيدة التي لا تزال تطبق عقوبة الإعدام. كما أنها الدولة الأوروبية الوحيدة التي لا تزال سلطاتها تبدي تراخيا في التعامل مع فيروس كورونا.”.
