من المنتظر أن يقوم الوزير الأول السنغالي عثمان سونكو بزيارة رسمية إلى جمهورية تركيا خلال الفترة من 6 إلى 10 أغسطس 2025، وذلك في إطار جهود تعزيز العلاقات الدبلوماسية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية بين داكار وأنقرة.
وتتضمن هذه الزيارة محطة بارزة تتمثل في لقاء مفتوح مع أفراد الجالية السنغالية المقيمة بتركيا، سيُعقد يوم السبت 9 أغسطس عند الساعة الثامنة مساءً بفندق لو ميريديان في إسطنبول. ويهدف هذا اللقاء إلى إتاحة المجال أمام الجالية للتعبير عن انشغالاتها وتطلعاتها، كما يُشكل مناسبة للوزير الأول لعرض رؤية الحكومة تجاه أبناء المهجر وتعزيز الروابط معهم.
وفي إطار التحضير الجيد لهذا الحدث، وجّهت سفارة السنغال في أنقرة دعوة إلى ثلاث هيئات فاعلة، هي: اتحاد الجمعيات السنغالية في تركيا، وجمعية السنغاليين من دون أوراق إقامة، وجمعية الطلاب السنغاليين، وطُلب من كل منها تعيين ما بين 10 إلى 20 ممثلاً للمشاركة في اللقاء.
وعلى هامش الزيارة، سيُنظَّم منتدى اقتصادي سنغالي-تركي صباح نفس اليوم (9 أغسطس) بفندق لو ميريديان أيضًا، ابتداءً من الساعة التاسعة صباحًا، ويجمع هذا المنتدى رجال أعمال ومسؤولين من البلدين. ويهدف إلى تنشيط المبادلات التجارية وفتح آفاق جديدة للتعاون الاستراتيجي بين السنغال وتركيا، في قطاعات ذات اهتمام مشترك.
