ضبطت البحرية السنغالية ما يقرب من ثلاثة أطنان من الكوكايين على متن سفينة صعد عليها قبالة سواحل السنغال طاقم مكون من عشرة أشخاص بينهم سنغالي.
أعلنت البحرية أن زورق دورية “ضبط ما يقرب من 3 أطنان من الكوكايين النقي على متن سفينة تم اعتراضها على بعد 150 كيلومترًا قبالة ساحل” داكار. “
وقال مسؤول عسكري سنغالي كبير، طلب عدم الكشف عن هويته، إن الشحنة المضبوطة تحتوي على 2975 طنا من الكوكايين.
وقال الجيش السنغالي في بيان صحفي سابق إنه تم اعتراض السفينة خلال الليل من الأحد إلى الاثنين. ثم تم اصطحابه إلى قاعدة بحرية في دكار حيث وصل يوم الثلاثاء “لتحديد وإحصاء المنتجات المضبوطة”.
ويضم طاقم السفينة سنغاليا و”التحقيق جار”، حسبما أشار إليه مسؤول بحري لم يحدد جنسية الأشخاص الآخرين الذين كانوا على متن السفينة وأصلهم.
وأضاف أنه تم اعتراض السفينة “في المياه الدولية”.
