سونكو يصف التسول الاحترافي للأطفال بـ”غير المقبول” ويتعهد بوضع حد له
ندد الوزير الأول عثمان سونكو بما وصفه بـ”تسول الأطفال المُحترف” واعتبره أمراً غير مقبول في السنغال الحديثة مشيراً إلى أن هذه الظاهرة آخذة في التوسع والتكيف مع الوسائل التكنولوجية الجديدة مثل “الموبايل موني” و”كودات الـQR” التي أصبح يستخدمها الأطفال في الشوارع لجمع التبرعات
سونكو الذي كان يتحدث خلال مشاركته في مسيرة توعوية حول حقوق الطفل وحمايته كشف أنه أمر بإدراج بند خاص حول التسول في جدول أعمال مجلس الوزراء القادم معتبراً أن استمرار وجود الأطفال في الشوارع يعرضهم لمخاطر كبيرة ويشكل فشلاً جماعياً في حمايتهم وتربيتهم
وأضاف الوزير الأول أن التسول المنظم الذي يستغل الأطفال من قبل بالغين تحت غطاء التعليم الديني يجب أن يتوقف قائلاً “لا أحد يريد أن يرى طفله يتجول في البرد وتحت التهديدات فقط لجمع المال لراشد لا يربيه بل يستغله”
وأشار سونكو إلى أن وزيرة الأسرة ميمونة جيي أطلعته على ظاهرة استخدام بعض هؤلاء “المشغلين” للأطفال لكودات QR لتسهيل جمع المال عبر التطبيقات الرقمية وهو ما وصفه بـ”الاحتراف المرفوض للتسول”
كما تطرق الوزير الأول إلى وضعية المدارس القرآنية المعروفة بـ”الدارا” مؤكداً أنها تمثل أولوية لدى رئيس الجمهورية الذي أطلق مبادرات عدة لتحديثها ودمجها في العملية التعليمية الوطنية عبر الرقمنة
وختم سونكو بتجديد التزام الدولة بالتحرك العاجل والفعال للقضاء على هذه الممارسات وضمان مستقبل كريم لكل طفل سنغالي
