داكار – من المقرر أن يبدأ جزء كبير من مسلمي السنغال صيام شهر رمضان غدًا السبت، وذلك بعد إعلان عدة جهات دينية رؤية هلال الشهر المبارك في أماكن مختلفة داخل البلاد مساء اليوم الجمعة.
وقد أفادت مصادر محلية بأن لجان مراقبة الهلال في مناطق متعددة أكدت ثبوت الرؤية، ما دفع بعض الجماعات الدينية إلى إعلان بداية الصيام يوم السبت، في حين يعتمد آخرون قرار اللجنة الوطنية لتحديد بداية الرمضان بشكل رسمي .
يذكر أن السنغال تشهد عادةً انقسامًا في بداية الصيام بين بعض الجماعات المسلمة واللجنة الوطنية الرسميّة لترائي الهلال
