ترامب : يأمر بتعليق تمويل منظمة الصحة العالمية
أصدر الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب أوامره للمعنيين في بلاده، بتعليق تمويل منظمة الصحة العالمية، مؤقتا على الأقل، بسبب طريقة تعاملها مع أزمة فيروس كورونا المستجد.
وقال ترامب في مؤتمر صحفي بالبيت الأبيض، إن “منظمة الصحة العالمية فشلت في القيام بواجبها الأساسي ويجب أن تخضع للمساءلة”.
وأضاف: “المنظمة عززت التضليل الصيني بشأن الفيروس، مما أدى على الأرجح إلى تفشي الوباء على نطاق أوسع”.
وتابع: “أحد أخطر القرارات التي اتخذتها منظمة الصحة العالمية وأكثرها تكلفة كان قرارها الكارثي بمعارضة قيود السفر من الصين والدول الأخرى”.
وقال ترامب إن الصحة العالمية أخذت على محمل الجد ما قالته الصين بشأن تفشي الفيروس، وتبنت أقوالهم، ودافعت عن إجراءات الحكومة الصينية مشيدة بشفافية بكين، “وأنا لا أعتقد بذلك”.
