شهدت العلاقات السنغالية الفرنسية خطوة جديدة نحو تعزيز التعاون في مجال التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي، خلال لقاء جمع مسؤولين سنغاليين مع السفيرة الفرنسية في دكار ووفد من المسؤولين الأكاديميين.
ووفقًا لما نشره الموقع الرسمي لوزارة التعليم العالي السنغالية، فقد ركّزت المناقشات على تعزيز تبادل الطلاب، ودعم البحث العلمي والابتكار، وتطوير التكوين المهني. وتم تسليط الضوء على جامعة روز ديينغ كنموذج بارز يعكس هذه الديناميكية المتنامية بين البلدين.
من جانبه، أكد الوزير السنغالي على التزام الحكومة، بقيادة الرئيس باسيرو جوماي ورئيس الوزراء عثمان سونكو، بإصلاح المنظومة الجامعية، بما يتماشى مع الأهداف الطموحة لرؤية “السنغال 2050”.
