السنغال: مترشحة تعلن عن سحب ترشحها للانتخابات الرئاسية

بعد عرقلة ترشحها بسبب جنسيتها المزدوجة، تتخلى مرشحة ائتلاف السنغال الجديد، السيدة “روز ورديني” تعلن عن سحب ترشحها في الانتخابات الرئاسية.
وقالت السيدة “ورديني” في مؤتمر صحفي مساء اليوم: “لقد قررت سحب ترشحي للانتخابات الرئاسية، بعد التشاور مع المقربين مني”. واضافت: الآن، فإن الدافع وراء هذا القرار هو الرغبة في جعل العملية الانتخابية أكثر سلاسة.
وعن وضعها القانوني، قالت “روز ورديني”: إن الحقيقة ستظهر قريباً.
وطالبت في مؤتمرها الصحفي بإجراء الانتخابات الرئاسية قبل 2 أبريل 2024.
يذكر أن السيدة “روزني” تم اعتقالها يوم الجمعة 2 فبراير من قبل إدارة التحقيقات الجنائية، على إثر اتهامها بالحنث باليمين بسبب جنسيتها المزدوجة، وأحيلت يوم الاثنين 5 فبراير 2024 إلى النيابة العامة في دكار، قبل أن يتم الإفراج عنها احتياطيا.
والتهم الموجهة إليها هي: الغش في الحكم، وتزوير الكتابة الأصلية والعامة، والتسجيل بصفة مزورة، والميل إلى إخفاء بيانات العجز، الاشتراك في إقرار بعدم وجوده على عدم مساواته وعلى وجوده في القائمة
