أعلنت الحكومة السنغالية موقفًا حازمًا إزاء قرار الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم (CAF) القاضي بإعادة إسناد لقب كأس أمم إفريقيا 2025 إلى المغرب، معتبرة الخطوة «غير قانونية ومجحفة».
وجاء هذا الموقف عبر المتحدثة باسم الحكومة ماري روز خدي فاطو فاي، التي عبّرت عن «استياء شديد» من القرار، مشيرة إلى أنه يستند إلى تفسير خاطئ للوائح، ويتعارض مع مبادئ النزاهة الرياضية، خاصة أن اللقب – بحسب البيان – حُسم داخل أرضية الميدان.
وأكدت دكار أن ما وصفته بـ«محاولة سلب غير مبررة» سيدفعها إلى اتخاذ خطوات تصعيدية، تشمل اللجوء إلى مختلف الهيئات القضائية والرياضية الدولية، وعلى رأسها محكمة التحكيم الرياضي (TAS)، من أجل استعادة ما تعتبره حقًا مشروعًا للمنتخب الوطني.
كما أعلنت السلطات نيتها المطالبة بفتح تحقيق مستقل بشأن شبهات فساد داخل الكاف، في خطوة تعكس تصعيدًا غير مسبوق في هذا الملف.
ولم يخلُ البيان من بعد إنساني، إذ جدّدت الحكومة تضامنها مع المواطنين السنغاليين المحتجزين في المغرب على خلفية أحداث مرتبطة بالمباراة النهائية، مؤكدة العمل على إيجاد حل سريع لوضعهم.
وفي ختام بيانها، شددت الحكومة على أنها ستظل «حازمة ويقظة وغير متهاونة» في الدفاع عن حقوق المنتخب الوطني، معتبرة أن القضية تتجاوز مجرد لقب رياضي إلى حماية مصداقية كرة القدم الإفريق
