السعودية: تأجيل القمتين: السعودية – الأفريقية؛ والعربية – الأفريقية

أعلنت وزارة الخارجية السعودية تأجيل عقد القمتين السعودية – الأفريقية والعربية – الأفريقية اللتين كان من المقرر أن تستضيفهما المملكة في الربع الأول من هذا العام 2020، وذلك إلى موعد جديد سيتم تحديده لاحقا.

وأعلنت وزارة الخارجية أن ذلك يأتي حرصا من حكومة المملكة العربية السعودية على اتخاذ التدابير الاحترازية لمواجهة فايروس كورونا المستجد في إطار الجهود الدولية المبذولة في هذا الجانب، وتماشيا مع الإجراءات التي أوصت بها الجهات الصحية المختصة للحد من التجمعات.

ويأتي هذا القرار بعد التنسيق مع رئاسة الجانب الأفريقي وجامعة الدول العربية والاتحاد الأفريقي، في وقت تتضافر فيه الجهود لتطبيق تدابير صحية متقدمة تحمي المواطنين والمقيمين في البلدان من المخاطر.
