الاتحاد الأوروبي يقدم 9 مليون يورو إلى السنغال من أجل مكافحة الهجرة السرية

انطلقت في داكار اليوم أعمال  اللجنة التوجيهية الأولى لبرنامج العمليات المشتركة من أجل معالجة قضايا الهجرة وتهريب المهاجرين بحضور وزير الداخلية السنغالية وسفيرة الاتحاد الأوروبي في داكار،. ويتناول الاجتماع مناقشة برامج حماية الشباب من المتاجرين.  وسبل توسيع نطاق التعاون بين الاتحاد الأوروبي والسنغال بهذ الشأن، ، ودعت اللجنة إلى إشراك جهات فاعلة مثل القوات المسلحة والشرطة ووزارة العدل والجمارك ، في الجهود المبذولة لمكافحة هذه الظاهرة ، واستجابة للأولوية المشتركة للاتحاد الأوروبي والسنغال ، أعلنت المندوبة الأوربية عن تقديم مساهمة بمبلغ 9 ملايين يورو تساهم في وضع نهج عالمي وشامل ومتضافر لمكافحة تهريب المهاجرين والاتجار بالبشر في السنغال
