أونروا ” : تحذر من دخول الحظر الإسرائيلي عليها ما سيمنع خدماتها عن ملايين اللاجئين

حذرت وكالة الأمم المتحدة لغوث وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين “أونروا”، اليوم السبت، من أن الوقت يمر لدخول الحظر الإسرائيلي على الوكالة حيز التنفيذ، ما سيمنعها من تقديم خدماتها لملايين اللاجئين الفلسطينيين في قطاع غزة والضفة الغربية المحتلة، بما في ذلك شرقي القدس.

جاء ذلك على لسان مديرة التواصل والإعلام في الأونروا جولييت توما، في مقابلة مع راديو وتلفزيون أيرلندا (RTE)، نقلت فحواها الوكالة على حسابها عبر منصة “إكس”.

ويأتي التحذير الأممي قبل أقل من شهر وبالتحديد بنهاية يناير/كانون الثاني الجاري، على دخول قرار الاحتلال حيز التنفيذ بحظر عمل وكالة الأونروا، في مناطق سيطرتها، بعد تصويت برلمان الاحتلال “كنيست” على القرار في أكتوبر/تشرين الأول الماضي.

وقالت المسؤولة الأممية: إن “الوقت يمر لفرض حظر محتمل على الوكالة ما يمنعها من تقديم خدماتها الأساسية لملايين اللاجئين الفلسطينيين في غزة والضفة، بما في ذلك القدس الشرقية”.

وشددت توما على أن “الأمم المتحدة لا تخطط لاستبدال الوكالة بالأراضي الفلسطينية، ويجب أن يتراجع الكنيست عن قرار حظرها”.

وفي 28 أكتوبر الماضي، أقر الكنيست الإسرائيلي بشكل نهائي، حظر نشاط الأونروا في الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة، ويدخل القرار حيز التنفيذ بعد 3 شهور من التصويت، أي نهاية كانون الثاني/ يناير 2025.

يشار إلى أن “أونروا” وغيرها من المنظمات الدولية، تعرضت مرارا لانتقادات حادة من جانب الاحتلال، والمطالبة بإغلاق الوكالة، بحجة أنها تعمل على استدامة قضية اللاجئين الفلسطينيين، وتعززت هذه الرغبة بعد العدوان الإسرائيلي على قطاع غزة، بعد قصف العديد من مقراتها ومؤسساتها التعليمية والخدمية.

وفي مقابل الموقف الإسرائيلي، يؤكد المجتمع الدولي على أنها تظل الوسيلة الأفضل لإيصال المساعدات ــ مثل الغذاء والتعليم والخدمات الصحية ــ إلى الفلسطينيين في غزة والضفة الغربية، وخاصة في ظل الحرب الإسرائيلية الحالية على قطاع غزة.
