ناميبيا: تمدد الإغلاق الجزئي حتى 4 مايو لمواجهة كورونا
أعلنت السلطات في دولة ناميبيا الإفريقية، تمديد فترة حظر التجوال الجزئي لـ18 يومًا إضافية؛ في إطار التدابير الاحترازية التي اتخذتها البلاد للحد من تفشي فيروس كورونا المستجد(كوفيد-19).
جاء ذلك بحسب تصريحات أدلى بها رئيس ناميبيا حاج جينجوب، الأربعاء، في خطاب متلفز للأمة.
وقال جينجوب في خطابه، إن حظر التجوال الجزئي الذي بدأ سريانه في 27 مارس/آذار الماضي وكان من المقرر أن ينتهي يوم الخميس في منتصف الليل ، تم تمديده حتى منتصف الليل في 4 مايو/أيار 2020.
وأضاف موضحًا أن إن حدود بلاده ستبقى مغلقة وسيطبق حظر تجوال جزئي لمدة أسبوعين ونصف حتى 4 مايو كجزء من إجراءات صارمة جديدة لاحتواء انتشار الفيروس.
وسجلت ناميبيا التي يبلغ تعداد سكانها 3 ملايين نسمة، 16 إصابة بالفيروس حتى الأربعاء.
وأصاب الفيروس، حتى مساء الأربعاء، أكثر من مليونين و77 ألف شخص في العالم، توفى منهم ما يزيد عن 134 ألفًا، وتعافى أكثر من 509 آلاف، وفق موقع “وورلد ميتر” المتخصص في رصد أعداد ضحايا الوباء حول العالم.
