في أول يومين.. فريق «البلسم» يجري 26 عملية خلال حملته الطبية بتشاد لعلاج مرضى المخ والأعصاب

أجرى فريق جمعية «البلسم» للتدريب والتطوير الصحي 26 عملية لعلاج مرضى المخ والأعصاب خلال أول يومين من حملته الطبية في جمهورية تشاد، التي انطلقت يوم 20 يناير الجاري وتستمر حتى 28 يناير، تحت إشراف مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية.
وتمكن الفريق الطبي لجمعية «البلسم» خلال اليوم الأول، من فحص 180 مريضا، وأجرى 8 عمليات تداخلية للألم، تنوعت ما بين أورام دماغية وحالات استسقاء دماغي وتشوهات خلقيه دماغية والحبل الشوكي، وكذلك حالات درن الفقرات، والعديد من حالات الانزلاقات الغضروفية والأمراض التنكسية للفقرات العنقية والفقرات القطنية.
كما انتهى الفريق من إجراء 18 عملية في اليوم الثاني للحملة الطبية، تنوعت بين حالات طب ألم حقن آلام الجافيه وتثبيت فقرات قطنية، وتركيب أنبوب تصريف سائل الدماغ لعلاج استسقاء السحايا، وإصلاح الصلب المشقوق، وتثبيت فقرات قطينة، وإزالة غضروف وتوسيع القناة العصبية.
ومن جانبه، شارك سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى جمهورية تشاد عامر الشهري، في تدشين حملة جمعية «البلسم» للتدريب والتطوير الصحي، لعلاج مرضى المخ والأعصاب بالمجان، بحضور وزير الصحة العامة والوقاية بجمهورية تشاد الدكتور عبد المجيد عبد الرحيم، وشخصيات هامة من وزارة الصحة، وكذلك المدير العام لمسشتفى النهضة، وفريق «البلسم» الطبي، وفريق الأطباء المحليين.
وتعد زيارة فريق جمعية “البلسم” إلى جمهورية تشاد هي ثاني أعمال الجمعية بعد توقيع اتفاقية التعاون مع مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة، كانت باكورتها حملة طبية ناجحة في جمهورية قرغيزستان نوفمبر الماضي، أسفرت عن 112 جراحة قلب تكللت جميعها بالنجاح.
