ثمن سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى السنغال السيد سعد عبد الله النفيعي عمق العلاقات بين المملكة العربية السعودية وجمهورية السنغال ،جاء ذلك في مقابلة خاصة لموقع ريفي دكار على هامش حفل تدشين برنامج “سمع السعودية” الذي أطلقه مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية بالتعاون مع وزارة القوات المسلحة السنغالية ويستهدف الأطفال المصابين بفقدان السمع عبر عمليات زراعة القوقعة والتأهيل السمعي
وخلال المقابلة شدد سعادة السفير على أن هذه المبادرة الطبية والإنسانية ليست مجرد مشروع صحي ، بل هي رسالة محبة وتقدير من المملكة العربية السعودية لشعب السنغال الشقيق ، وتجسيد حي لعمق العلاقات التاريخية المتجذرة بين البلدين ” مؤكدًا أن ما يجمع الرياض ودكار ليس فقط التعاون الثنائي بل علاقة أخوة وصداقة تُبنى على الثقة والاحترام المتبادل “
وأضاف أن تدشين هذا البرنامج النوعي يأتي امتدادًا لنهج المملكة في دعم الشعوب الإفريقية لاسيما في القطاعات الحيوية كالصحة والتعليم ، مشيرًا إلى أن المملكة تنظر إلى السنغال كشريك استراتيجي مهم في غرب إفريقيا ، وأن الدعم السعودي سيبقى حاضرًا في كل ما من شأنه تحسين حياة المواطنين السنغاليين “
وتابع السفير :” برامجنا الإغاثية ليست فقط مساعدات ، بل استثمار في الإنسان خاصة حين يتعلق الأمر بالأطفال وذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة ” وقال السفير :” نحن نؤمن بأن توفير فرصة السمع لهؤلاء الأطفال هو إعادة صياغة لمستقبلهم ، وفتح باب جديد لهم نحو التعليم والاندماج والمشاركة في بناء الوطن
وختم بتوجيه الشكر للسلطات السنغالية على ما وصفه بالتعاون الوثيق والروح الأخوية الصادقة ، وأكد أن العلاقة بين البلدين تتوطد يوما بعد يوم ، وأن مثل هذه المشاريع تعكس التفاهم العميق بين قيادتي البلدين والرغبة المشتركة في بناء مستقبل مشرق لشعبيهما.”
