سيدي ولد التاه يتولى رئاسة البنك الإفريقي للتنمية وأمادو هوت يحتل المركز الثالث
انتُخب سيدي ولد التا، المرشح الموريتاني، رئيسًا للبنك الإفريقي للتنمية في الانتخابات التي جرت مؤخرًا في أبيدجان، حيث فاز بنسبة 76% من الأصوات في الجولة الثالثة. وجاء سامويل مايو بنسبة 20.26% في المركز الثاني، بينما حصل السنغالي أمادو هوت على 3.55% فقط، محتلاً المركز الثالث.
تُعتبر هذه النتيجة حاسمة، وقد كانت متوقعة بسبب الدعم الكبير الذي قدمته موريتانيا لمرشحها، بينما اعتمد هوت بشكل كبير على سمعته ومسيرته المهنية دون دعم قوي من الدولة السنغالية. كما فقد هوت دعم بعض الحلفاء الطبيعيين، بما في ذلك دول الجوار، التي اختارت دعم موريتانيا رغم أنها ليست عضواً في “منظمة الاقتصاد والتكامل لغرب إفريقيا (الإيكواس – CEDEAO) ولا في الاتحاد الاقتصادي والنقدي لغرب إفريقيا (اليوموا – UEMOA)
