جولة الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة في غرب إفريقيا تشمل 3 دول

أعلنت الأمم المتحدة الجمعة أن الأمين العام الأممي أنتونيو غوتيريش، سيقوم بجولة غرب إفريقية، تشمل كلا من السنغال والنيجر ونيجيريا، تستمر من السبت 30 ابريل إلى غاية الأربعاء 4 من مايو 2022.
 
وقال نائب المتحدث باسم الأمم المتحدة فرحان حق خلال مؤتمره الصحفي اليومي، إن غوتيريش سيصل مساء غد إلى السنغال، حيث سيشارك في إفطار رمضاني مع الرئيس ماكي صال، على أن تبدأ زيارته الرسمية للبلاد في الأول والثاني من مايو.
 
وبعد السنغال، سيزور الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة  النيجر في الثالث من مايو، حيث سيلتقي رئيسها محمد بازوم، كما سيتباحث في أبوجا مع رئيس نيجيريا محمد بخاري، في المحطة الأخيرة من جولته في 4 من مايو.
 
وسيسلط غوتريش القادم من زيارة لروسيا وأوكرانيا، خلال جولته غرب الإفريقية، الضوء على تداعيات الغزو الروسي لأوكرانيا على القارة الإفريقية.
 
وسيعقد غوتيريش اجتماعات في الدول 3 مع ممثلين للمجتمع المدني وشخصيات دينية، ومن المتوقع أن يلتقي كذلك بعض ضحايا عنف الجماعات المسلحة في منطقة الساحل.
