الإمارات.. مكالمة هاتفية مدتها 7 دقائق تفقد شابا كافة مدخراته
تسببت مكالمة هاتفية “خادعة” مدتها 7 دقائق، في فقدان كافة المدخرات المالية لشاب في الإمارات يدعى راشد، جراء ادعاء المتصل بأنه موظف البنك الذي يدخر فيه راشد الأموال، والاحتيال عليه.
وفي تفاصيل هذه الواقعة، ذكرت صحيفة “البيان” الإماراتية بأن عملية الاحتيال “بدأت عندما كان راشد منشغلا في عمله لإنجاز بعض المهام الموكلة إليه، حيث تلقى اتصالا هاتفيا من شخص ادعى أنه موظف يعمل في البنك الذي يودع لديه أمواله، موضحا له أن سبب اتصاله يعود إلى قيام البنك بتنفيذ إجراءات تحديث للبيانات الخاصة بعملائه، ليشرع في طلب بعض المعلومات من راشد لتجديد بياناته”.
وحسب الصحيفة، “شعر راشد بداية بمخاوف وهواجس بأن الشخص المتصل يحاول الاحتيال عليه، إلا أن المعلومات التي قدمها عنه، جعلت راشد يطمئن للموظف، بالإضافة إلى أنه كان قد استقبل في وقت سابق رسائل من البنك، تؤكد له ضرورة تحديث بياناته، إلا أنه أثناء سير المكالمة الهاتفية عادت الشكوك لتساور ذهن وأفكار راشد، وذلك بعد أن طلب منه الموظف تزويده بكلمة المرور الخاصة به”.
وأشارت “البيان” إلى أن “راشد رفض في البداية إعطاء الموظف كلمة السر، ولكن الموظف أكد له أن بطاقته سيتم إيقافها إلا إذا قام بتغيير رقمه السري، ومن أجل ذلك، هو بحاجة لرقمه السري القديم، لإلغائه وإدخال رقم آخر جديد، فوافق راشد، وأنهى المكالمة”، لافتة إلى أنه “بعد أقل من ساعة، وردت رسالة إلى هاتف راشد مرسلة من بنكه، تفيد بسحب كامل الرصيد المالي الموجود في الحساب المصرفي”.
بسبب هذه الرسالة، اتصل راشد على الفور بالبنك للاستفسار عن الأمر، في حين أوضح له موظفو البنك أنهم لم يقوموا بالتواصل معه، ليكتشف أنه تعرض لعملية نصب واحتيال، أسفرت عن فقدانه كافة المدخرات التي وفرها على مدى سنوات عمله، وفق “البيان”.
