أمطار غزيرة في الجنوب السنغالي تؤذن ببداية الموسم الزراعي
بعد أسبوعين من أول أمطار سجلت في 12 مايو 2020 ، فتحت السماء أبوابها مرة أخرى في المنطقة الجنوبية الشرقية من السنغال، Kédougou حيث سجلت مصالح الرصد أكثر من 30 مم من مياه الأمطار في “كيدوغو”.
يوم أمس الأحد تساقطت حوالي الساعة الثانية صباحاً أمطار غزيرة على كامل منطقة “كيدوغو” التي سجلت كميات المياه التالية: في مقاطعة الولاية: 14.3 مم؛ في بلدية سابودالا 27 مم. في سالاماتا ، 15.1 مم ؛ داكاتلي: 12.0. في قسم كيدوغو: 32.5 ملم في بندافاسي و 20 ملم في كيدوغو.
بمتوسط بلغ نحو 20.15 ملم، فإن هذه الأمطار تعتبر مؤشرا على بداية فعالة للأنشطة الزراعية الموسمية في هذا الجزء من جنوب شرق السنغال.
نقل موقع “يني ويب” عن المدير الإقليمي للتنمية الريفية في كيدوغو قوله: “حاليًا في كيدوغو ، نحن في بداية فصل الخريف، حيث انتشر هطول الإماطار في كافة أنحاء الإقليم، وهي أمطار جيدة قد تسمح للمزارعين ببدء أنشطة الحرث واستصلاح الأرض.
ودعا المدير الإقليمي للتنمية الريفية المزارعين إلى البدء الفوري في استصلاح الأراضي لضمان عملية الحصاد بسرعة..
وقال المزراع “داوود آن”: “لقد تلقينا أول أمطار معتبرة منذ 12 مايو، على الرغم من انقطاعها لمدة أسبوعين، فإننا في الوقت الحالي نوصي بأن يهتم المزارعون بعمليات الحرث، وإعداد الحقول والحصول على المدخلات لبدء الزراعة في الوقت المناسب للحصاد المبكر . “
